It is a realistic choice to optimize the allocation of rural educational resources, improve the quality of rural education and realize the modernization and revitalization of rural education. The benefits of artificial intelligence as a “Means” and the needs of “Purpose” of rural education revitalization together constitute the logical basis of the integration of artificial intelligence and rural education. At the same time, artificial intelligence is not omnipotent and all-round, there are some limitations in rural education revitalization, such as the spiritual emptiness of rural education, the shelter of rural education culture and the loss of rural education characteristics. The combination and symbiosis of rural education and artificial intelligence should be strengthened from the aspects of wisdom promoting the return of human essence, technology using the inheritance of local culture and intelligence promoting the development of heterogeneity.
